Oscar Moran

Engineering Team Lead

Oscar is one of the original members of V-Nation and has led the team to victory on the day that it matters (game-day). And even though First Tech Challenge is more than robots, he works very hard on making sure the robotic elements are working.

Tesfa Gebre

Driver/ Coder/ Engineer

Tesfa is a new member of the team, having only been here for 1 season so far. He is an incredibly driven member, and even with his short time in the team, he has been a core reason that we have strived as far as we have.

Talya Alkaheel

Team Lead/ Engineer

Talya is one of the original members of V-Nation and is always ready for networking at team events, forming relationships that boost team morale and bringing new ideas to the table: proving we are truly more than robots.

Henry Rushton

Engineer

Henry has been here for 2 seasons so far. He has been a part of the engineering team the whole time, assisting Oscar, Talya and Tesfa in the engineering aspects of the team. He has also participated in our regional networking initiatives!

Fiker Gebre

Engineer

Fiker is a new member of the team. She assists Talya in the creation of project aims to help bring direction to the work of V-Nation, and materialise new ideas. She is also heavily involved in season planning and designing our robot.

Shay Matthias

Driver/ Coder/ Engineer

Shay is a new member of the team. He is motivated to bring positive change towards the engineering part of the team and he spends a lot time building the robot and its many components

Angela Jacob

Cross-team Engineer/ Networking

Angela is one of the original members of the team and has been with engineering since then, and often crosses over to outreach, helping out whenever she can. Engineer, supporter, cheerleader. You name it, and she's there.

Grace Davies

Treasurer/ Business Manager

Grace is one of the original members of the team and has helped the team overcome many challenges in terms of finances, publicity and fundraising, as well as managing all the members of the outreach team.

Acacia Zhang

Portfolio Manager/ Outreach

Acacia is one of the original members of the team and has taken responsibility for the portfolio and makes sure that all of our events are documented as well as managing other portfolio officers.

Blake is one of the newer members of our team, currently on their 2nd season here at V-Nation. They are in charge of the Instagram, with posting weekly updates and helping our publicity.
